Mold manufacturing

The mold is manufactured according to the structural characteristics, divided into planar punching molds and cavity molds having spaces. The punching mold utilizes the dimensions of the convex mold and the dimensions of the recess, and some even have no gap. Other forging molds such as cold extrusion die, die-casting mold, powder metallurgical mold, plastic mold, rubber mold, etc. are all kinds of workpieces for forming stereo shapes. The cavity mold has dimensional requirements in length, wide, and high in three directions, the shape is complex, and it is difficult to manufacture. Mold production is generally single, small batch production, manufacturing requirements are strict, accurate, and precise processing equipment and measuring devices.

The requirements for mold design are: precise size, surface light; structure, high production efficiency, easy automation, easy manufacturing, high service life, low cost; design compliance with process needs, economical reasonable.

Mold structure design and parameter selection must consider rigidity, orientation, unloading mechanism, positioning method, gap size and other factors. Easy parts on the mold should be easily replaced. For plastic molds and die-castings, it is also necessary to consider reasonable casting systems, molten plastic or metal flow conditions, and enter the position and direction of the cavity. In order to increase productivity, reduce flow channel casting loss, multiple cavity molds can be used, and multiple identical or different articles can be completed simultaneously in one mold. High efficiency, high precision, high-life molds should be used in large quantities.

The stamping die is used in multi-station stage, which can be used in a hard alloy insert stage to improve life. In small batch production and new product trial, it should be simple, simple mold, low cost, low cost, such as combined die, thin plate die, polyurethane rubber mold, low melting point alloy mold, zinc alloy mold, superplastic alloy mold, etc.. The mold has begun to adopt computer-aided design (CAD), which is optimized by a computer-centric set system. This is the development direction of mold design.

The plane punched mold can be further formed by electro-splitting initial formation, re-use mold grinding, coordinate grinding, and the like. The forming grinding can be used as an optical projection curve grinding machine, or a flat grinding machine with a shrinkage, a molded grinding wheel, or a dedicated molded grinding tool grinding can also be used on the precision planar grinding. The coordinate grinder can be used for precision positioning of the mold to ensure precision aperture and aperture. It is also possible to coordinate the shape of the curve shape and the die by computer CNC (CNC) continuous trajectory coordinate. Multi-shaped milling machine machining, electric spark processing and electrolysis processing. Putting the imitation milling and CNC joint application and increasing three-way flat head units in an electric spark processing can improve the processing quality of the cavity. Increased inflatable electrolysis in electrolysis processing can increase production efficiency.
