CNC machining

Numerical control machining refers to the processing with numerical control machining tools. CNC exponential machine tools are programmed by CNC machining language, usually G code. NC machining G code language tells NC machine tool machining tool using what kind of Cartesian position coordinates, and control tool feed speed and spindle speed, as well as tool converter, coolant and other functions. Numerical control machining has a great advantage over manual processing, such as numerical control machining produced parts are very accurate and repeatable; CNC machining can produce parts with complex shapes that cannot be completed by manual machining. Numerical control machining technology has been widely promoted, most of the machining workshop has the numerical control machining ability, the most common numerical control machining methods in the typical machining workshop are numerical control milling, numerical control turning and numerical control EDM wire cutting (electric spark line cutting).

The tool used for CNC milling is called a CNC milling machine or CNC machining center. The lathe on which CNC turning is done is called a CNC turning center. G code of CNC machining can be programmed manually, but usually the machining workshop uses CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) software to automatically read CAD (computer-aided design) files and generate G code program to control the CNC machine tools.
