Six Knowledge Points of CNC Machining(图1)

CNC machining (generally CNC Machining usually refers to computer digitally controlled precision machining, CNC machining lathes, CNC machining milling machines, CNC machining boring and milling machines, etc.). In the center's machining process, it is important that it is in programming and operating At the same time, we must avoid knocking the CNC machining center.Because the price of CNC machining center is very expensive, ranging from several hundred thousand yuan to more than one million yuan, repair is difficult and costly. However, the onset of bumps has certain rules to follow and can be avoided, mainly the following points.

1. Use computer simulation system to copy:

With the development of computer technology, the numerical control machining education is continuously expanding, the numerical control machining simulation system is more and more, and its functions are becoming more and more perfect. Therefore, it can be used to start viewing the program and observe the movement of the tool to determine whether it is possible to bump.

2. Make use of the imitation display function of the CNC machining center:

Generally more advanced CNC machining centers have graphic display function. After entering the program, you can call the graphical imitation display function to specifically observe the tool's movement track (called the trajectory) in order to see whether the tool may collide with the workpiece or fixture.

3. Use the idling function of CNC machining center:

Use the idling function of CNC machining center to check whether the tool path is correct. After the program is input to the CNC machining center, you can install the tool or workpiece, and then press the idle button (button), the spindle does not rotate at this moment, the worktable actively runs according to the program track, at this moment you can find whether the tool is likely to work with the workpiece or fixture collide. However, in this case, it is necessary to ensure that the tool cannot be installed when the workpiece is installed; when the tool is installed, the workpiece cannot be installed, otherwise bumps will occur.

4. Use the lock function of the CNC machining center:

The general CNC machining center has a locking function (full lock or single axis lock). When the program is entered, the Z axis is locked, and the coordinate value of the Z axis can be used to determine whether a bump will occur. The use of this function should avoid operation such as tool change, otherwise the program cannot be passed.

5. The coordinate system and tool compensation must be set correctly:

When starting the CNC machining center, the reference point of the CNC machining center must be set. The working coordinate system of the CNC machining center should be consistent with the programming, especially the Z axis direction. If a mistake is made, the possibility of the milling cutter colliding with the workpiece is very high. In addition, the setting of the tool length compensation must be correct, otherwise, it is either a blank machining or a bump.

6. Improve programming technique:

Programming is a crucial part of CNC machining. Improving programming skills can largely avoid some unnecessary bumps.

In short, mastering the programming skills of the machining center can better improve the machining efficiency and machining quality, and avoid unnecessary mistakes during machining. This requires us to continuously sum up experience (experience) in practice and continuously improve, so as to further strengthen and improve the programming and processing capabilities.
